Refund & Cancellation Policy

How we handle cancellations and refunds of donations.

Last updated: March 2026

We deeply appreciate every act of seva and every donation made towards Adhyatmik Seva's work of feeding the poor, caring for cows, and serving saints. This policy explains how we handle cancellations and refunds of donations made through our website.

1. Nature of Donations

All donations made to Adhyatmik Seva through our website, UPI, or payment gateway are voluntary contributions towards our ongoing seva activities. Once a donation is successfully processed, it is treated as received funds and is immediately allocated to our programs, including Annadaan Seva, Gau Seva, and Sadhu Bhojan Seva.

2. Donations Are Generally Non-Refundable

As donated funds are typically utilized promptly towards our seva activities, donations made to Adhyatmik Seva are, as a rule, final and non-refundable.

We request all donors to please review the donation amount and details carefully before completing a transaction.

3. Exceptions – Duplicate or Failed Transactions

We understand that technical errors can occur. A refund may be considered only in the following cases:

  • Duplicate Donation: You were charged more than once for a single donation due to a technical error (e.g., clicking "Donate" multiple times).
  • Failed but Debited Transaction: The donation failed or was not confirmed on our website, but the amount was still deducted from your bank account, UPI, or card.

To request a refund under these circumstances, please write to us within 7 days of the transaction, along with:

  • Your full name and contact details
  • Date and amount of the transaction
  • Transaction ID / UPI Reference Number / last 4 digits of the card used
  • A screenshot or bank statement showing the deduction

Send this information to info@adhyatmikseva.org. Once verified with our payment gateway, eligible refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment within a reasonable time frame.

4. If a Tax Certificate Has Already Been Issued

If an 80G tax exemption certificate or Seva Certificate has already been issued for a donation, we may not be able to process a refund for that donation, as it has been formally recorded and allocated. Any such request will be reviewed at our discretion.

5. Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring/monthly donation, you may cancel future contributions at any time by writing to us at info@adhyatmikseva.org. Please allow us 7 working days to process your cancellation request. Amounts already donated under the recurring plan remain non-refundable, as per Section 2 above.

6. In-Kind Contributions

If you have contributed towards specific seva items (such as food grains, cow fodder, or supplies for sadhus) rather than a direct monetary donation, such contributions are non-refundable once received and utilized for the intended seva.

7. Our Discretion

Adhyatmik Seva reserves the right to review each refund request individually and may decline a request where it does not meet the criteria above, or where sufficient proof is not provided.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
